A few miles east of Lordlake a camp was built up that sheltered the Anti-Queen Nobles.
The biggest tent was for the leaders of the rebels. The interior was artful and wonderfully decorated with lots of flowers and showed in general an enormous sense of style.Three women were sitting in comfortable chairs, drinking wine in very large glasses. All of them looked very extravagant in their uniforms, that were colourful and adorned with a lot of ornaments.
"Lordlake has no chance against our army.We will come over them like a force of nature," said a women with dark skin and hair smiling. "Soon the citizens of that region will recognise who the real Falena's nobility is, Francesca."
The woman in the chair next to the entry raised her glass for a moment and took another little sip. She used a handkerchief and cleaned her mouth. She was even now wearing much makeup, but her long face and the boring brown hair that fell straight made her the least attractive woman in that tent. "Our scouts report that Eden received reinforcements from Reinwall as well as that hole the Godwins call castle. It won't do us good to underestimate that man and the soldiers that arrived today."
The last of the three women with the most decadent clothes leaned forward in that chair that wasn't supposed to be used for anything but a relaxed position. "What do you expect from a man who calls himself 'The Fool'? The three women laughed, the one with the long face actually giggled. "Still we have to think twice, that's true,"admitted the woman who was obviously the chief of the group. "What do you mean, Amethyst?"
"As I said, he calls himself a fool, but still he is an important man within the Queendom. We shouldn't make the error and believe the possible fake he shows to the people"

**********

Within Lordlake's borders a man was still awake and wandered around in the governmental headquarters' building. The man was Eden, the Fool, whom the three rebel's leaders were at this moment talking about. Although he was wearing clothes that would match his name, he was going slowly with a very serious face. Only a few minutes ago he ended the meeting with the reinforcements that was just sent from the faction's castles. Eden wasn't often within these walls, because he preferred his own castle outside of Lordlake, but in a time like this it was better and easier to be in Lordlake. Anyway, Eden wasn't fond of the idea of letting those two people into his Refugio. That was an "honour" only the highest members in the Queendom will ever experience.
Eden was thinking about the meeting. He was grateful for every help granted, but he wasn't sure whether it was enough this time. The Godwin had sent Heretic King, a man who Eden only knew a very tad bit and whose reliability he couldn't really be sure of. Of course his faction wouldn't send him a man without bravery and fighting skills, but he knew how dangerous the times were and supposed that other people were needed at other places. The Barows sent him Anais. Eden knew her even less than Heretic King. Although he despised many of Barow's traits, he was nonetheless sure that they won't sent an useless member.
All this sounded good, but still Eden conscience was aching with doubt. His "little helpers" were reporting that the army in front of his town was bigger than he assumed it could be and he couldn't be sure of his reinforcements actual strength. The Fool sighed and entered his room, which he arrived while he thought about the next day.

**********

The night wasn't as long as many people have hoped it would be, including Eden, but now that the day was welcomed by little bird voices the rebels's army entered the plains before Lordlake. Eden discussed his strategy a last time with Heretic King and Anais, while the first wore dark armory, rough and beautiful only in its extreme usefulness wore the second armory that was way more colourful and decorated, although it was still a good defense in a battle.
Eden returned to his cavalry men and mounted his loyal horse. He rode to the front of his regiment and grumbled with a low voice to himself: "How dare you filthy rebels to attack my beautiful region?" Then he signalled his men to start the attack.

On the other side of the battle field laughed Amelia Lourette, the dark skinned rebel leader, loudly: "Hee-hee, what fun this will be!" Then her archers went forward as well. Amythyst Boudierre called over the battlefield a warning: "Behold! The true Nobility stands before you!" She rode her soldiers to the attack while Francesca Belgium was still motivating her own soldiers. "For Amethyst," screamed she and followed her two fellow rebel leaders.

Eden's men clashed with Amelia's soldiers. Eden lost only a few men before his core unit reached the enemy, who couldn't stand the force Eden unleashed. Within moments hundreds of rebels fell under the sharp swords of the cavalry and the the men who survived that first attack tried to flee. Eden ordered his men to follow those victims.

When Anais' infantry reached Amethyst, the picture was unfortunately vice versa. The cavalry with the ornamented armory was too strong for the unexperienced warriors of the Barow's faction. It became quickly obvious that this time the Queendom's army would have to take a defeat. Amethyst Boudierre looked down on the fleeing men and laughed heavily: "Hoo-hoo-hoo, what silly little people you are." Still laughing she decimated the last remaining soldiers.

Everything lasted on Heretic King's shoulders, but it was as Eden feared: Godwin's man was still not experienced enough for this encounter. Although he managed to take some soldiers down with his well-aimed arrows, Franscesca's Infantry battle-hardened was way too strong for him. Within minutes every single soldier Heretic King led was lying dead on the ground and only he himself managed to flee, hiding in shame, though nobody would blame him for this unfair battle.

Franscesca and Amethyst entered Lordlake while Eden was still following Amelia. Too late did he recognise that Amelia was indeed no match to his strength on the battlefield, but that she was even in her defeat able to be a bait for the Fool. Eden stepped into the trap that led him away from the town that was under his control, which he should have defend as long as he lived. At the time he came back to Lordlake with almost every single soldier he led into battle, the rebels were gone with thousands of stolen potch and although no citizens were killed, the Fool bowed his head in shame. He knew that his future wouldn't lie in Lordlake anymore, but he promised death to every single rebel with the Queendom.

Interesting, though these few scenes removed from the context of a larger work don't make much sense.

A few points of note;

An "armory" is a place where weapons and armor are stored.  "Armor" is what you wear for personal protection.

And what religion has the Heretic King forsaken to be called as such?

Thank you for clarification.
I apologise, because I seem to have deleted my explanation of this text when I pasted it in... This piece has been written a few years ago. I was part of one of the biggest Suikoden forums, which had a strategy game modelled slightly after the game the forum was based off. This has been one of the encounters and I wrote a little story afterwards about the clash of armies. Of course it doesn't make much sense to you this way. I am sorry.
As a little clarification: Queendom of Falena was a nation in one of the video games and a special usergroup on the board, which I belonged to. The Anti-Queen nobles were NPCs and the character such as Heretic King were members who played the game and were part of this particular battle.
Do you have anymore questions?
