I see Dead People

“I see dead people” I whispered,
“Though some are still alive,
I’ve seen them on this bed…
Watching with dead eyes”

“There’s no one dead in here”
“Honey, I expect it still”
“Don’t worry about it, dear”
“Darling, of course I will”

“I see them hanging from the fan,
Lying on the floor,
As far as my sight would span,
While standing at this door”

“They fade when I turn away,
All traces of them gone,
Honey, believe what I say!
Have I ever told you wrong?”

“There’s no one dead in here!
No bodies on this bed,
Can’t you see that, dear?
It’s all in your head!”

“There were bodies here before!”
“Only in your head!”
“They aren’t here anymore…”
“That’s because they’re dead.”

Very nice. The first thing I thought of, which others might agree, is The Sixth Sense.
I love it!

I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or not so I'll just take it as a compliment lol.

Definitely take it as a compliment Bunny - it means that your poems are easy to understand! I too was reminded of the sixth sense, but I was also thought of a friend of mine who see's ghosts. I should send him this - he'd like it. Do you mind if I pass it on Bunny dear? With your creds of course :)

You're more than welcome to. There's a send button on the bottom of the page if you want them to get the whole topic as well. There's a spot to add your own comment in there. We don't see who gets shared topics or the message or anything, it's private lol.

Unless it bounces. OMG one of them did one time and it ended up at bunny at brs.com. OMG LOLOLOLOLOL It was hilarious. I'll have to see if I still have it.

I can't find it for the life of me, it could be in the hunk of metal under my desk, however it was basically an ongoing conversation type of thing.

They sent a topic to a friend saying "this is what I was talking about" and they made a couple of comments which were a little different. I can't recall them but I burst out laughing.

It was meant to be a compliment! I said it so long ago though I can't remember what I meant! :)

About Bunny
Jade Elizabeth is an eccentric young woman who enjoys writing stories and poems with hidden deeper meanings. She is quoted saying “Writing to me is not a hobby. It's a passion. It's something that lets my thoughts expose themselves, and my heart shine through where other art could not.

Commonly her poems are inspired by love or depression, and are dedicated to the people who encouraged the emotion. Given the chance she will readily pull her poems apart, exposing the deeper and hidden meanings behind her words.

Her stories are usually unspoken messages to those close to her – giving every story a hidden meaning. Some things are better left unsaid, or in her case, expressed indirectly through stories.

Jade used to write Documentation for Simple Machines in her free time, but has since begun studying and working, which takes up most of her free time now.
